Dishari Pledges Support to Alka Ohri Foundation

Alka Ohri Foundation is thrilled to announce our new partnership with Dishari, a Massachusetts-based nonprofit dedicated to compassion and community service.

The Alka Ohri Foundation is proud to announce a new partnership with Dishari, a nonprofit organization based in Massachusetts, in support of our ongoing mission to improve the lives of women battling triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC).

In a generous show of solidarity, Dishari has pledged its support to the Alka Ohri Foundation. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales to their upcoming cultural fundraiser, Agomoni – The Awakening, on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Lexington High School, will also be donated to the foundation.

Founded just seven months ago, Dishari is a growing nonprofit focused on building a compassionate community through cultural engagement and charitable outreach. Their events serve as platforms to raise funds for causes that matter both in India and within local communities in Greater Boston. Their upcoming event, Agomoni – The Awakening, celebrates culture through music, dance, drama, and storytelling, and will spotlight the spirit of giving back.

Support the Cause at Agomoni – The Awakening

Join the celebration on Saturday, September 13 at Lexington High School. This vibrant cultural event is open to all, and every ticket contributes directly to Dishari’s charitable initiatives—including their donation to the Alka Ohri Foundation. Tickets are available at: dishariboston.org/agomoni.

This partnership marks a shared commitment between our two organizations to empower women facing one of the toughest breast cancer diagnoses. Through collaboration and community engagement, we aim to drive real change and give strength to those who need it most.
